Lucca on foot, by bike or by Segway

The lovely and surprising historic center of Lucca lends itself much more than other cities to a visit by Segway or bike, if you want to try a fun alternative to walking. The city is flat and completely hemmed in by its roughly 4-kilometer long walls.
The itinerary is the same as on foot : we will discover the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini by pedaling or walking on the shady and massive walls, the pride of the city! It is a unique experience with many views of rooftops and tower-houses. We will descent from the walls into the historic center to visit the main sites: the Roman amphitheater, the amazing tree-topped Guinigi tower, the square of San Michele, the city’s 2,200-year-old hub, the Romanesque basilica of San Frediano, the cathedral of San Martino with its multi-colored marble facade and the Renaissance gardens of Palazzo Pfanner.
Free samplings of Lucca’s specialites, such as local extra virgin olive oil, wines, truffles, and salamis, can be included.

Prices

From 160 euros for a 2-hours tour and from 190 euros for a 3-hour tour. For a full day, the prices are twice as much as for a half day and are per group and not per person.

The bike-rental fee is 5 euros per hour per person.
Ask me for a personalized quote for the Segway tour, as they are calculated according to the number of participants. Minimum number of participants is 4.
